What follows is a guide to the work the workshop takes on regularly, with rough starting prices. Every quote is firmed up after a measure-up or a vehicle visit — sizes vary, surfaces vary, and a fair quote needs a proper look.
Vehicle signwriting
Small van panel work — a name, phone number, and a couple of lines of contact details on each side of a panel van. Cut vinyl in one or two colours. From £180 for both sides, fitted at the workshop. Half a day's work.
Standard van livery — full side and rear graphics including business name, services, contact, and a small logo. Cut vinyl plus printed elements. From £380 for both sides plus rear. Full day's work.
Trade vehicle livery — full sides, rear, bonnet, sometimes roof. Heavier graphic work including printed elements and a sign-off panel. From £550. Day to day-and-a-half.
Full vehicle wrap — colour-change wraps in cast-vinyl films. From £1,800 for a small van, scaling with vehicle size. Two to three days. Less common than livery work but the workshop takes them on.
HGV and trailer signwriting — by area. Curtain-side trailers and rigid HGV bodies quoted to the panel size. Typical curtain replacement (graphics only, not the curtain itself) from £450 per side.
Plant and machinery — diggers, dumpers, agricultural kit. Quoted per job; depends heavily on surface and access.
Shopfront and premises signs
Fascia signs — replacement of a single fascia panel: design, manufacture, fit. From £320 for a small shop fascia.
Hanging projecting signs — bracket-mounted projecting signs in painted or vinyl-finished aluminium. From £220 for the sign panel; bracket additional if needed.
Window graphics — opening hours, contact details, decorative graphics, frosted-film privacy panels. From £85 for a small window package.
A-boards and pavement signs — wooden or aluminium A-boards with custom graphics. From £140 fully finished.
Internal signage — wall graphics, room signs, directional signage for offices. Quoted per scheme.
Printed work
Business cards — small-run cards on quality stock. 500 cards from £55, 1,000 from £80.
Flyers and leaflets — A6 to A4, single or double-sided. 250 A5 flyers from £45.
Posters — A3, A2, A1 in single or small batch. A3 prints from £8 each.
Vinyl banners — outdoor PVC banners, eyeleted and hemmed. From £25 per square metre. Most common request: a 2m × 1m banner for an event, around £55.
Vinyl stickers — small runs of die-cut or kiss-cut stickers. From £35 per 100 stickers up to 5cm; scaling with size and quantity.
Design work
Most jobs include basic artwork in the price (laying out the lettering, sizing the elements, choosing typefaces from a standard palette). If you need full design work from scratch (logo design, full brand identity, multi-piece print campaign) the workshop takes it on at an hourly rate, currently £45/hour. Most one-off logo jobs come in around two to four hours of design work.
Lead times
Typical lead times from sign-off:
- Small van work, banners, business cards: 3 to 5 working days.
- Standard van livery, shopfront fascia: 1 to 2 weeks.
- Full wraps, larger jobs: 2 to 3 weeks depending on workshop queue.
Urgent jobs can usually be accommodated for a small extra charge if the workshop's calendar allows. Phone or email to ask.
